Brotherhood

Wow. We’ve been going at this Men’s Group at work for several months now. Tonight, one of our guys came in and gave the message for the first time. 11 meetings. 16 men in attendance now. I get to sit back and watch it unfold. Powerful stuff! These guys are really getting engaged. They don’t even let me pray anymore as they take the wheel! When you see grown men, tough men, sitting around talking about problems and how God is working in their lives – it gives me chills just thinking about it.

Why do we (as men) have to be so tough and so strong that we can’t let God inside the circle and live among us? FINALLY, we’ve got a group of guys, of co-workers, brothers-in-arms, fighting the spiritual fight together. So proud of these guys for stepping up and breaking down the wall of “toughness” that the Devil builds up over lifetimes. And the message brought tonight was about not only being the man of the house but loving our wives as Christ loved His church. Living as if to die for the women in our lives. To cherish them as they so deserve. THAT is what men are designed to do. May God continue to work through this group of guys to do mighty things for HIS glory. Amen!
